Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data Untroubled Bride may process, why it is used, which outside services are involved, and what choices and rights you have.
Last updated: October 6, 2026
1. Who controls your data
The data controller for Untroubled Bride is Andrii Popov, an individual based in Poland who operates the Untroubled Bride websites and related services.
Contact email: hello@untroubledbride.com
This policy applies to the main website at untroubledbride.com and, unless a separate notice says otherwise, its related subdomains, including the blog, subscription pages, and download pages.
Untroubled Bride does not sell personal data.
2. What data may be processed
Technical and security data
When you visit the site, hosting, security, and delivery providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, requested URLs, timestamps, and security or diagnostic information.
Privacy-choice data
The site stores your analytics preference so that it can remember whether you accepted or rejected non-essential analytics.
Analytics data
Google Analytics is enabled only after you choose to accept analytics through the site's privacy-choice banner. If you reject analytics, the consent manager does not intentionally activate Google Analytics for that visit.
Attribution parameters
If you arrive through a URL containing campaign parameters such as
utm_source, utm_medium, or utm_campaign,
those parameters may be used on the current page to preserve campaign attribution
in outbound product links. Persistent attribution storage in browser local storage
is used only after you accept optional analytics and attribution through the site's
privacy-choice banner, and may be kept for up to 30 days.
Email and signup information
If you request a free guide, subscribe to emails, or submit a form, information such as your email address and the details you submit may be processed to deliver the requested material and, where you have consented, to send ongoing email updates.
Messages and support requests
If you contact Untroubled Bride, the information in your message and the contact details you provide may be processed in order to respond.
Purchase and order information
Digital products are sold through third-party platforms such as Gumroad and Etsy. Those platforms process payments and account or transaction information under their own privacy notices. Untroubled Bride may receive order details needed to deliver, identify, or support a purchase.

5. Service providers and external platforms
Cloudflare
Cloudflare is used for website hosting, delivery, performance, and security. It may process technical request and security information needed to serve and protect the site.
Website fonts
The site's core typography is self-hosted on Untroubled Bride domains rather than requested from Google Fonts or another third-party font-delivery service.
EmailOctopus
EmailOctopus is used for email signup forms, delivery of requested resources, and email communications. Information you submit through an EmailOctopus form is processed under EmailOctopus's privacy practices as well as this policy.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is used only after analytics consent to understand site usage and improve content and navigation. Analytics consent can be rejected or withdrawn.
Gumroad
Some Untroubled Bride digital products are sold through Gumroad. If you purchase through Gumroad, Gumroad processes payment, order, and account information under its own privacy terms. Untroubled Bride may receive order details needed to provide support or identify the purchase.
Etsy
Some digital products are also available through Etsy. If you purchase through Etsy, Etsy processes payment, account, and order information under its own privacy terms and may provide Untroubled Bride with order details needed to fulfil or support the purchase.
External and affiliate links
Articles may link to third-party websites, retailers, or affiliate partners. When you follow an external link, the destination website receives the request directly and may process technical information under its own privacy policy. Some outbound links may include campaign or affiliate parameters.
6. International data transfers
Some service providers used by Untroubled Bride may process data outside Poland or the European Economic Area. Where GDPR transfer rules apply, providers may rely on an adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism. Their own privacy notices provide more information about their processing locations and safeguards.
7. How long data is kept
Data is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the relevant purpose, including:
- Privacy-choice record: up to 180 days, unless you change or clear it sooner.
- UTM attribution data stored in the browser: up to 30 days.
- Email subscription data: while you remain subscribed, plus any limited record needed to honour an unsubscribe or consent withdrawal.
- Support correspondence: for as long as needed to answer the request and, where necessary, protect legal rights.
- Purchase-related records: for as long as needed to support the transaction and meet applicable accounting, tax, or legal-record obligations.
- Analytics data: according to the retention settings configured for the analytics service.
8. Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, GDPR may give you the right to:
- request access to your personal data;
- request correction of inaccurate data;
- request erasure of data;
- request restriction of processing;
- receive certain data in a portable format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent; and
- lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority.
To exercise a right relating to data controlled by Untroubled Bride, email hello@untroubledbride.com.
Complaints in Poland
If you believe your personal data has been processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych — UODO) in Poland. You may also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority in another EU/EEA country where you live or work.
9. Email choices
If you have consented to ongoing marketing or editorial emails, you can withdraw that consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or by contacting Untroubled Bride.
Withdrawing marketing consent does not prevent transactional or service messages that are necessary to deliver something you requested or support a purchase.
10. Children
Untroubled Bride is intended for adults planning or researching weddings and is not designed to collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the site, please contact hello@untroubledbride.com.
